[vc_row equal_columns=”true”][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text] BDV team (led by Laurenz Vuchetich, partner and Anamarija Javor, attorney at law) is proud to have advised on local law Kommunalkredit Austria AG, the leading energy and infrastructure bank, as lender in closing a EUR 25,000,000 secured facility for oil & gas UK company Star Energy Group plc, as borrower in respect of its transition strategy into geothermal energy and enabling continued investment in the Group’s oil and gas business. According to Star Energy Group plc, Chris Hopkinson, Chief Executive Officer, stated: “Securing this facility is an important milestone for Star Energy. It allows us to use cashflows from our existing oil and gas business to optimise near-term conventional production (with quick pay-backs) and deliver our transition strategy; namely developing and monetising our geothermal business in both the UK and Croatia.” The closing and activity on this deal demonstrate BDV’s ongoing presence in premier energy-related transactions in the region.
