Rijeka Tax Law Day Conference 2024

|

The 5th edition of the Rijeka Tax Law Day Conference was held by Univeristy of Rijeka, Faculty of Law (Sveučilište u Rijeci, Pravni fakultet) – PRAVRI in close cooperation with IBFD, International Fiscal Association Croatia and EY Croatia.

This year’s topic “The Common Constitutional Tradition in the European Union and Its Impact on Taxation” served to foster an in-depth exploration of the complex relationship between constitutional principles and taxation within the European Union (EU).

On a panel discussion devoted to effective protection of taxpayers’ constitutional rights, interesting points were raised by panelists – Hrvoje Šimović, Masa Saric, Nikola Biloglav, Ylva Larsson and BDV’s partner Vladimir Batarelo. Stjepan Gadžo adeptly moderated the panel discussion, enriching it with insightful guidance.

It was a pleasure to be part of the conference. We thank the organizers and congratulate all the panelists, keynote, and other speakers on their excellent presentations.
