Mediation and Free Legal Aid: Opportunities for Synergy

|

As one of the members of the expert group from Republic of Croatia, our partner @Marko Bohaček, recently participated in a study visit to Rome, Italy, alongside colleagues from the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration, the Municipal Court in Zagreb, Center for Peaceful Dispute Resolution and the Norwegian Courts Administration.

Organized as part of the project “Mediation and Free Legal Aid: Opportunities for Synergy” (“Medijacija i besplatna pravna pomoć: Mogućnosti sinergije”), the visit provided valuable insights into mediation practices in Italy. The delegation had the opportunity to visit key institutions, including the Supreme Court of Cassation (Corte Suprema di Cassazione), the Ministry of Justice (Ministero della Giustizia), and the ADR Center Roma – Organismo di Mediazione and to participate in fruitful discussions and knowledge transfer.

We thank our colleagues for their cooperation and all the effort put into the implementation of the project. This cross-border collaboration fosters knowledge exchange, allowing for comparative analysis of mediation systems and best practices across European countries.
